Assistance with Articles

Many of you know that I’m the Houston Small Business columnist for the internationally syndicated www.examiner.com

Since I’m ramping-up the frequency of adding new articles, I need your assistance.

I want to interview Houston area small business* owners and professionals who specialize in assisting them. (Seasoned entrepreneur - in business least one year; new ventures - must be in business minimum of 6 months.)

• Overview• 10 – 20 minutes
• Prepared questions associated for both categories
• Category 1: your advice for business success
• Category 2: your advice for other small business owners just starting their business
• No guarantee of publication date (it’s an ongoing column)
• No editorial license on your part.
• Many topics are on deadlines; so, there’s no guarantee that it will be included it in my next column
• I will send you a follow-up email with the link to the article.
• These interviews are primarily conducted during business hours on Mon. to Fri; with the option for Sat. w/ our schedules
• Contact by email
• Must have internet access

Further explanation
Be assured, I’m not intentionally overlooking other industries. Please email them to me for consideration in my upcoming articles.

Category 1
I need to interview Houston area business professionals who exclusively direct their services toward Houston small businesses. I’m specifically looking for these services: CPAs, attorneys, business consultants, lenders (bankers, venture capitalists, “angels”), suppliers and vendors, communication, marketing, media, graphic design; utilities and others as determined by me.

Category 2
I need to interview Houston area Small Business Owners in the following industries: finance, marketing and advertising, communication and media, manufacturing, retail, restaurants, food and beverage, general suppliers, technology (internet, green, software) construction, architecture, electrical,
forestry, human resources, marine, oil, gas and exploration; and others as determined by me.

Consideration
“First come’ first served”

Finally
Initial contact is by emailing me through InHouston. Then, we’ll set-up a time and day that’s convenient for both of us. Even though many of my topics are on deadlines, I can’t guarantee when it’ll be published.

I hope that y’all consider my request for help. Thank you.

Lea-Ann

You mentioned putting InHouston in the copy too. I didn't see it.

I'd be glad to help people here get greater exposure. I'd be glad to interview too.

Are you looking for anyone to help suggest possible solutions to ways SBOs can use retirement plans to shelter income from tax and meet their post-employment goals?
