Pink VisionArial""> is a cause marketing organization that specializes in organizing
unique fundraising events committed to increasing normal"">Breast Cancer Awareness and funding the research for a cure to a
disease that affects so many. We are currently seeking a Director of
Sponsorship and Sales to sit on our board of directors. This position will
provide a great opportunity to work within an organized and structured company
that offers Long term Partnership as an incentive along with great community
exposure and recognition.
The Director of Sponsorships & Sales will
oversee and advance all aspects of corporate giving. The Director will collaborate
with the Board of Directors to design and implement effective strategies to
increase sponsorship and be an integral part of the Fundraising Efforts.
Essential duties and responsibilities
include the following:
· Serve as
the frontline for corporate giving, solicitation materials, telephone and email
inquiries, and providing customer service/troubleshooting.
and identify corporate prospects; create and implement cultivation strategies
to increase overall corporate revenues.
· Work with the PR and Marketing team on fundraising-related collateral.
cultivation visits with existing and potential donors, and cultivate new
relationships on a regular basis throughout the year.
· Manage and implement annual revenue budgets, forecasts and strategies.
· Oversee database management related to sponsors and corporate prospects.
correspondence, marketing materials and related documents, including proposals,
acknowledgement letters, contracts, benefits and report drafts.
· Manage and
create incentive for entire Pink Vision Team and network to bring in new
sponsors and revenue for the corporation and the cause.
Arial"">A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years in corporate fundraising experience is preferred. Experience in either the for-profit or nonprofit
sectors is acceptable. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in
successfully cultivating and soliciting corporate partners; superior written
and verbal skills, accomplished communication and networking skills; excellent
interpersonal and presentation skills. The candidate must be a hands-on,
resourceful team player with experience managing staff and building consensus.
Experience with database management and processing is also required.
