Success Stories Group Guidelines

The goal is simple: To provide inspiration, motivation, and value to to InHouston members, through posting success stories and information that will encourage members to leverage InHouston to achieve maximum success.

Your post should be formatted as: I met person A at an InHouston event, we talked about B, and the result was C. Yada.. yada... yada...

We all have amazing products and businesses to promote, leverage InHouston Mixers to do so, but use the Success Stories group to share your success story, not to promote your product or service.

Thanks!

White Mountain Marketing Associates has been involved in Social Marketing and Servant Leadership for 5 years or more. Every aspect of our work is based on what we can do for others. As we do for others, without expecting any return, creates long-lasting, pure relationships based on another set of criteria. We have answered nearly 10,000 questions submitted by thousands of companies from start-up to Fortune 100...for FREE. And, from this we have enjoyed a new level of success, created thousands of friends in our lives, who will be lasting relationships. They call it "Social Networking". I call it just good sense. Why not help others to achieve their goals? Why not offer your knowledge to those who need it...without your hand out awaiting a payoff. It just comes. There is no date on it.

Here is a true story: I answered an anonymous question in a website where I go to help people. That answer, was held in a file for 2.5 years, when I got a call and was hired to help this Texas company with their marketing. Another firm...a Canadian software firm after following us on this site, flew into Houston and hired us on the spot. We had no idea they were even out there. We have created many clients just by giving of ourselves. Eric's "InHouston" sites offers each of you the same opportunity.

Finally...this is not a "forum" where a moderator reviews every posting to every person. That is impossible. Take responsibility for your own "online lives". If someone insults you, either accept it as an issue with them, and walk away, or confront it yourself...OFF SITE. Don't air your dirty laundry here. If you want to argue with someone...do it on your own time.

This site can create what many term "miracles" in business. When, in fact...it's YOU. YOU can create your own miracles.

Porshea -

Thank you for starting the InHouston Success Stories.

InHouston is a fantastic tool. Not only has it developed some good connections for my business and helped me make some new friends, it has also generated hundreds of attendees for:

1. The First Wednesday Corporate Network Luncheon with speakers like Erik Standlee, Donna Fisher, and Louis Gonzales (next week),

2. The Networking and Skin Care Seminar with over 200 attendees.

3. The InHouston Mixer at Houston National Golf Club, where we will discuss Converting Social Media Networking to Dollars on May 27th.

4. The Networking & Health Seminar at LeTourneau University on Saturday June 6th from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm.

5. And, the two Seminars on June 12th & September 18th with Ron White, Niurka, Bob Burg, and Chris Widener.

It is the most effective media I have found for bringing people together for a common cause.

Let's help enroll 100,000 InHouston members!

Eric - now that's Success! You're right with Success stories like that InHouston will indeed be a global phenomenon soon & very soon!

I define success in many ways:

First, I know that through InHouston I have helped many people, many businesses, and the Houston economy.

Second, we have found new business to the tune of over $4MM in new monthly revenue and more.

Third, I have made some great friends.

Fourth, I have been able to share the ideals of Servant Leadership Networking. I didn't come up with them, but they are like a fine story. If you don't share about it eventually it dies. I believe InHouston will grow to be a HUGE global phenomenon because people love it.
