You are an independent business owner like I am but I hope you aren’t in the same state that I was in – without healthcare. So many of us who are independent are lacking in this area.

Healthcare in our country is a multi-trillion-dollar industry, yet over 50 million Americans lack coverage of some kind.

Several changes in the Health Care Affordabilty Act, have already been implemented.

Children under a parent’s health insurance plan can now remain on their parents plan up to age 26.
Also, children with preexisting health conditions cannot be excluded from coverage.
