About Me:: I am a Independent PR Consultant who has an extensive background in public relations, marketing, newspaper and magazine advertising, sales and human resources. I am the President and CEO of VMS Communications, a boutique PR and Diversity Marketing company. My clients are primarily authors, motivational speakers, non-profit organizations and small to mid-size businesses.

What I am most proud of and excited about is my new project, PINK VISION, a creative/cause marketing organization that specializes in organizing unique fundraising events committed to increasing Breast Cancer Awareness and funding the research for a cure to a disease that affects so many. The first Pink Vision event will be October 22, 2010! More info to come!

I currently serve on the Advisory Board of a non-profit breast cancer organization called Reconstruction of a Survivor, that sponsors many services for women who are diagnosed with breast cancer. I also served on the Executive Board for the National Black MBA Association Houston Chapter as PR Co-Chair from 2005 to 2009 and is a former Board Member of the YMCA of Greater Houston. I am currently a member of the following organizations:
