I have volunteered for Junior Achievement, Bo's Place, Houston Preferred Choice Hospice, Grace Hospice and more. Giving back is so important. I find it funny when I attend network opportunities, the reaction of people's faces when I tell them I am in the funeral business. I just listened about their company, what they do, etc. and then I know it's about to happen....they ask me .."So what do you do?" - - I already know it's coming... "I work in the funeral business"...boy did I just drop a BOMB. Their eyes widen and they somehow quickly walk away. Fear I guess......
