(March 3rd, 2011 Houston, Texas) Today InHouston founder, Eric Standlee, unveiled InHouston's newest professional group. InHouston Speakers Bureau, born as an idea in speakerconnection.ning.com, appears anew as InHouston Speakers Bureau.
This group gives a no-cost place for groups to seek speakers for their meetings and for speakers to advertise their topics. "The idea is to facilitate pairing of Houston's growing stable of excellent speakers with the ever growing number of group meetings that seek professional development through inviting speakers," announced Eric Standlee.
Eric founded InHouston in 2007 online, then started the first InHouston mixers in February of 2008. "30 RSVP'd and 6 showed up to our first mixer," according to founder Eric Standlee. Now, InHouston, part of the global networking organization InCity Networks, has mixers all around town. InCity now has growing groups across the US and even in other countries. InHouston's membership exceeds 16,000 as of this article.
