Hi Sally,

Our host company did a minor update. We're back in business now. I have a home office. However, I can schedule something on one of my out of the office meeting days. I'm in wedding season, and my schedule gets pretty hectic. Send me an email to precious [at] preciousnuptials [dot] com. Maybe we can schedule something soon.

Precious, I could not get your site to load. Do you have a physical address? I would like to visit with you.

This is such a great social networking community! I'm certainly excited about being here. Social media has taken me by storm. I quickly realized that if I didn't jump on board I'd be left behind.

With that said, my name is Precious Richardson. I'm a Clear Lake resident and the owner of Precious Nuptials & Destinations. Precious Nuptials began locally as a boutique style wedding planning service provider. Taking our travel sales experience (previous company: Enjoy Travel) and merging it into our thriving event planning company was a natural progression. This year has been our strongest year since the merger, and we are excited to see what the future holds.

Stop by our website and feel free to stalk our blog! We welcome the traffic. :)

I want to introduce myself to the group. I've just recently moved back into the Houston area. I'm a photographer specializing in Real Estate and Architectural photography. I've been feverishly working in LinkedIn and happy to report great success landing a great commercial account for an Architectural firm, Apollo BBC to shoot 12 commercial properties. Also a brand new brokerage Taylor-Bateman. I hope to make the next mixer in the area so that I can meet some of you and network one on one. Please feel free to ask if there is anything I can do to help any of you.

Review of Kim's site:
1) Clean, professional look and feel.
2) Clearly defined services, well written content.
It really looks like you did it right. Nice Job.
However, your site is not optimized for the search engines. So if someone is looking for "Estate Planning in Houston" you won't be found. To get relevant traffic, the site must be optimized to your top keyword phrases. You also need to build linkage and inner page links for the search engines among other things.

Hi Deena,
I took a look at your site and offer the following comments for improvement an usability.
1) Home button should not be in the middle of the nav structure. Put this on the far left.
2) Email address on contact us not linked. People want to email easily.
3) No physical address. Needed for credibility.
4) Photo gallery needs work. Lots of photos of different sized and quality. Try to standardize with larger high quality photos.
5) You have a nice photo used for the site theme but it would have more impact if it wasn't faded out.
6) Standardize the fonts. Over use of font sizes, colors, styles, italics, bold, screams "I'm home built".
7) Don't over use exclamations points.
8) Need more written copy in the services section (more details)
9) Consider search engine marketing and optimization so your site can actually be found for your target search terms.

Deena ther are a few typo's and inconsistencies on the web page. The last word on the Home page is (even!), I believe it is supposed to be (event!). One tab listed your staff would be there two hours before an event and another tab said three. It just needs some cleaning up. I would really sell the value that your service is to a family or corporate group. Event planning removes the headache and hassle of locating a venue and procuring all of the materials necessary for the event. It would also be nice to add some customer comments to the page. You might also want to consider posting contact/business hours and some idea of rates. Check out the competitions website.

I need professional opinions. I get alot of visitors to my website, but I am not receiving any feedback or inquiries. If any of you have a free moment to review my website and give me any suggestions on what it might need, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your assistance. Deena
