What does your company do to focus on its purpose?
Mary Kay founded this company 45 years ago with $5,000 of her life savings. At that time in our country women made .50 cents to a mans $1.00.
She wanted to give women an opportunity to be in business and have the opportunity to earn what they were worth. The company focuses on the Golden Rule and a "Go Give" spirit, with God first, Family second, and Career third.
Still today it only costs $100 to purchase a beauty kit and start a business with one boss (you), no limit on earning potential and two career paths. There is no "glass ceiling".
The Go Give spirit of the company was exemplified after the last hurricane when every beauty consultant received a "hurrican relief check" based on their prior years production. In addition the company replaced free of charge products which may have been spoiled.

Glynda,

Thanks for thinking of us. We've held signings at KBB for everyone of our books and will most likely return in the fall with about 15 other authors for the release of a short story anthology titled A Box of Texas Chocoloates. I love independent bookstores and wish we had more of them.

I'm afraid you don't want to know about my skin care routine, but I'll certainly pass the word to friends who pay more attention to their skin.
