What is Pilates?
Pilates is a form of exercise that was developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.
Pilates not only creates a physique that is ideal to each individual body type, but it also helps to alleviate pain and discomfort associated with current and past musculature related injuries or problems. This exercise program will complement any activity you are currently involved in such as football, baseball, basketball, golf, tennis, weight lifting, long distance running, horseback riding, or any other athletic endeavor.
