R.S.F Sports and Entertainment started in 1993 and B.R.E Entertainment in Sacramento,California .It was a solid force in urban online programming with the Rhythm Radio Network that produced various shows such as the "New Jack Zoo" and Behind the Scenes Magazine winner "The Rhythm Magazine Top 10 " It was a solid media player in the local music scene with promotion and local management of groups like " Addictive Knowledge" , The "Family Tribe", Ebon'e and Tre's . The company was also co-owners of KWWN -FM in Cameron Park, California . The company has branched off into sports teams and fitness programs through its sister company RSF SPORTS LTD as it houses the semi-professional programs and teams such as the Resurrection Men's and Women's Basketball Programs , Lady Saints Basketball Program and the Texas Lady Road Runners IWWFA Football Program. The sports side also has fitness programs BOX FIT BOOT CAMP and fitness shows FITNESS IN THE SPIRIT EXPO.
The founder of RSF Sports and Entertainment Michael Lewis formed a company that meets the needs of the customer with a focus on bringing his fitness and brodcast media/radio expertise and merging with a passion to develop a state of the art company that can meet the customers needs with affordable costs.
A native of the San Francisco,Califorina who moved to the Houston area when he was 5. Michael has spent most of his whole life in sports as an athlete,coach and a fitness professional. Michael worked as a civlian fitness specialist at military AFB installations in Sacramento and Las Vegas.
A graduate of Gulf Coast Bible College where he recevied an Associate of Arts in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in the University of Nevada at Las Vegas system.He also received Associate of Science in Kinesiology at Community College of Southern Nevada and has worked in the fitness industry as a fitness trainer with the Greater Houston YMCA and Bally Total Fitness where he spent time as a part-time group exercise instructor/personal trainer. His coaching expertise in the game of basketball spans over 18 years which includes various semi-professional league and minor league titles. He also was an assistant coach on the National Womens Basketball League West Coast Womens College Tour in 2004 and a training camp coach with the then Sacaramento Monarchs of the WNBA in 1998.
Michael is certified and a member of the America Aerobics and Fitness Association (AFAA) and has a group exercise specialty certification in spin cycling and holds a Fitness Professional program certification with National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and International Fitness Assocation (IFA). He is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA). He resides in the Houston area with hobbies being working out,travel and spending time coaching and instructing basketball He also certified with State of Texas HUB as a fitness vendor and is bonded and insures all clients through K and K Insurance.
