Are you staying focused?

If you are a true entrepreneur this is probably a difficult task for you. Entrepreneurs are creative, always coming up with new ideas and can easily drift off in a new direction.

They can often see the big picture but find it hard to stay on the road to reach success. If this sounds like you don't fret, you are not alone. Try one or all of these three steps to stay on track.

1.Spend a few minutes a day in meditation. This will take some work at first if… Continue

Where Did Everyone Go?

Where Did Everyone Go

I was visiting the other day with a prospective client, whom I had known for several years. As we were catching up, and naturally talking about marketing, he asked me, “Where’d everybody go?”

I answered, “What do you mean?”

He then began to share with me that it seemed that responses to his marketing had seemed to be dwindling over the past few months. He went to different list vendors, “updated” his lists, but leads were fading. “Sounds like… Continue

Family Expansion

My thoughts lately have been very focused on family. The reason for this is that my lovely wife, Brina, gave birth to our third daughter this week. Our new daughter Samantha Lynn Donaldson was born on Sunday evening at 10:18pm. With our newest addition, I’m officially the only male in our family of 5. GULP.

I took the week off of work at my Houston Courier Service to spend time with my family as well as get re-adjusted to having a newborn in our home. During this week, I’ve had some… Continue

Change Your Attitude, Change Your Life!

I read the following story years ago and it stuck with me. I would give credit to the author if I knew who that was. ;-)

David, a second grader, was bumped while getting on the school bus and suffered a two inch cut on his cheek. At recess he collided with another boy and lost two teeth. At noon while sliding on ice, he fell and broke his wrist. Later at the hospital, his father noticed David was clutching a quarter in his good hand. David said, " I found it on the ground when I fell… Continue

Tip to making Rose Arrangements last longer!

After 2-3 days it is best to change the water and re-cut the flowers for maximum longevity. I recommend removing the entire bouquet from its original vase and placing it in another container while you change the water. Be sure to use warm water and flower food. Adding flower food to your water mixture will help the flowers last longer. It is important to follow the mixing directions on the flower food packet. If the flower food solution… Continue

How do I care for my flowers/plant?

Flowers delivered arranged in a vase by a florist:

Your flowers were delivered ready to display and require no initial conditioning.

After a few days, cut the stems at a sharp angle under water if possible, replace the water in your vase, adding a packet of flower food provided with your arrangement.

Keep flowers away from televisions, appliances, and heating/cooling units and out of direct sunlight or drafts.

There’s no time like the present to jump in, join the crowd, engage in conversation and if truth be told have fun while building your business.
