Extra, Extra - Read All About It!

Lately, I’ve been purchasing a few more things online than I usually do. I guess I’m embracing the convenience of the internet and even more the convenience of receiving all of my purchases to my door instead of leaving to shop around town for hours. What I’ve realized as I buy more online is that I tend to rely on the reviews of products vs. the marketing of those products. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m sure that many websites have fake reviews. Knowing this, I tend to read through things with a… Continue

The opportunity to reduce occupancy costs is now

Beyond occasionally reviewing market surveys, leases and floor plans, senior managers in large companies rarely concern themselves with the intricacies of corporate real estate. Executives may not believe that they can have much impact on the “bricks and mortar” of their cost structure. They may also think, even as they strive to improve profits in other aspects of the business, that occupancy costs are either too insignificant to worry about, too technical to analyze, or too fixed to… Continue

You're Not Following These Twitter Users

It’s common to find blog posts that list people you should follow on Twitter. They might highlight designers, developers, artists or just cite a list of social media big names. SNDA’s in Commercial Leases

There are many parties who have legal rights in a commercial real estate project. For example, a lease grants certain rights to a tenant, and a loan grants other rights to a lender.

A subordination clause provides that the… Continue

My twin daughters graduated from UTD with Honors on May 16th. One of the girls needs to get a job somewhere to earn tuition for law school, which she plans to enter in the fall of 2010, while the other needs tuition for medical school. Since they are brand new to the job market they are not targeting any specific industry or even any specific position. They're both extremely sharp and very trainable, with a great work ethic.
